INSERTING NIBS

Ensure the metal ‘petals’ are folded in, then insert the nib above the petals at the top close to the outside edge where there’s a small notch - not in the middle! Use a cloth of paper towel to protect yourself and the nib, gently jiggling the nib and pen side to side to insert and release it. Adjust the petals as necessary to ensure a snug but not too tight fit.
